Three young strangers in Colorado are in danger, but don't know why. Their uncle, a man they never knew existed, rescues them. He tells them their parents were murdered when these young men were babies. New identities and new families were given to them. He whisks them and their wives away from Denver to a villa in Italy where they will be safe. There he answers all their questions by telling them who they really are. He then relates the family's 100 year history of battling the Mob. The story spans three generations. The first fought both prejudice and the "Black Hand". They formed an anti-mob organization in 1910 and the war began. The next generation continued the battle as they became Americans. They also were caught up in WWII. But the war with the Mob raged on both sides of the ocean. As the mob got more sophisticated, the family had to respond. Now these young men are the newest generation. Will the baton be passed to them?
